All new starters complete a Mandatory Induction Programme which covers:
- Safeguarding and child protection
- Trauma-informed practice
- Health and safety
- Medication management
- First aid and emergency procedures
- Behaviour management and de-escalation techniques
- Equality, diversity and inclusion
- Company values, policies and procedures
This foundation ensures you’re ready to support children safely, confidently and in line with regulatory expectations.
But learning doesn’t stop there. We offer ongoing training throughout your time with us, tailored to your role and development goals. This includes:
- Access to nationally recognised qualifications such as the Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare
- Regular refresher training to keep your knowledge current
- Specialist modules on therapeutic care, attachment, mental health and more
- 1:1 coaching and mentoring to build skills and confidence
- Support with career progression into senior, specialist or management roles
We also offer internal development programmes to help you take the next step in your career, whether that’s team leadership or a specialist role in education, therapy or care planning.
